Here at Daystar Junior School we treasure our volunteers! Daystar volunteers are the ‘lifeblood’ of our school and they are the reason we exist, making a real and tangible difference to our children and the community we serve. We highly value each and every one of our volunteers; their contribution, whether occasional or ongoing, makes a huge difference!
So, if you wish to help children and their families pursue a better life –
then Daystar School could be the right place for you.
Why volunteer?
Volunteering can be a rewarding experience. As a volunteer, not only do you get the opportunity to work directly with children from poor families, making a positive contribution to their lives, but you can benefit too by becoming more involved in a local community, meeting new people, and making new friends plus learning and developing new skills
Having fun!
Whether you can volunteer on an occasional or regular basis, your time and support will be greatly appreciated and will make a significant difference to the lives of our children and their families. For more information on our current volunteering opportunities, please send us an email via info@daystar.ac.ug
